Suzanne asks, "To blog or not to blog."

To blog or not to blog: that's the question I've been asking myself for months and the answer is now a resounding YES. (Personally, as the blogging neophyte of the group, I'm thrilled and relieved that I'm not going to be doing this alone.)

When we first began to brainstorm for something catchy to call ourselves, "Who Let the Blogs Out?" immediately popped into our minds, followed by lots of other variations. But it seems that anything and everything with "blog" or "writers" or "scribblers" was snapped up long ago. Hence, after numerous false starts, we are now The Quills and this blog is called Running With Quills. (Trust me, it'll grow on you.)

On that happy note, may I say WELCOME, and wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year and a 2006 filled with peace and prosperity. I hope you'll come back to visit us often.

JAYNE SAYS, NEW YEAR, NEW BLOG

Okay, I think we're ready to fire this blog thing up. Welcome to Running With Quills. We are four writers who also happen to be good friends. Stick around and you'll probably learn a lot more than you ever wanted to know about our slightly warped views of the writing life. I can tell you this much, you are about to enter uncharted territory. Never say you weren't warned!
