Welcome to Running With Quills, your online newsletter designed to keep you up to date with what your favorite authors (that would be us) are doing throughout the year. Here you will find the release dates of our new books and get information about our backlists. We'll preview our cover art here long before the books hit the stores and we'll keep you informed about works-in-progress and special projects. You'll also receive advance notice of signings and appearances. From time to time we'll give you a peek at our worlds, tell you what we're reading, and introduce you to some new authors.

A Quill Quickie

What are your three favorite foods?

Jayne:

1) Artichokes
2) Cheese
3) Wine

Elizabeth:

1) Salt
2) Grease
3) Chocolate

Suzanne: Only three? Okay, here goes.

1) avocado
2) raspberries
3) key lime pie (but since I'm on a diet --- I'm always on a diet, btw --- I'm eating fat-free key lime yogurt when that must-have craving hits.)
4) bread pudding (Sorry I just had to add a fourth.)

Inquiring Minds want to know as we head into the weekend: What are your three favorite foods?

2. Potatoes (mostly FF's, but I can do baked, too!)
3. Fruit (almost any kind... yum! I'm so glad summer is on its way with all the good, fresh fruits)

Okay, you didn't ask, but I love anything Italian and Mexican, too.

1. Peanut butter. (I'm dieting but I can't give it up so I've come to love Peter Pan's no sugar on rice cakes)
2. Chocolate. (I know I'm dieting but the health food store carries a dark chocolate that is wonderful in times of need).
3.SpaghettiandPizza.(That's one word. I just invented it. I'm still dieting, too. I am.).

I imagine that when Jayne invites Elizabeth to dinner, or vice versa, it's a replay of Beatrix Potter's THE PIE AND THE PATTY PAN (except not involving "pie made of mouse.")

The Mole:

Earthworms
Grubs
Small frogs

Talpianna:

Mushrooms
Steak
Baked potato with lots of butter

(and I can have them all at once!)

Since I'm the kind to forget food on occasion, for a whole day sometimes, I don't have too many favorite foods. Well, okay, I do but I had a hard time coming up with them.

1. Rouladen (German meatrolls made with thinly-cut steak)
2. Artichokes
3. Raspberries
4. Chocolate truffles as made by my Swiss-Canadian friend. Yum, melt in the mouth. Sorry, couldn't resist those either.

Hey, I've got pretty well every food group covered. Quointreau covers the drink department.
