Welcome to Running With Quills, your online newsletter designed to keep you up to date with what your favorite authors (that would be us) are doing throughout the year. Here you will find the release dates of our new books and get information about our backlists. We'll preview our cover art here long before the books hit the stores and we'll keep you informed about works-in-progress and special projects. You'll also receive advance notice of signings and appearances. From time to time we'll give you a peek at our worlds, tell you what we're reading, and introduce you to some new authors.

WHEW, WHAT A DAY!

Friends, Romans . . . Sorry, got carried away for a moment and who can blame me after two days of watching the hard working folks in blogland fight a SUPER GLITCH? To those of you who have tried to comment--our sympathy and our thanks. Please try to reconstruct your comments because we love 'em. And now we return you to our regularly scheduled . . . I think I'd better see someone about my latest quirk.

Happy Evening, Stella

Lori~!

I wanted to leave a comment on your Blog about a Writer's Family Life... (im not sure how far down people read..)

I am not piblished, I hope to be... and People now ask me, oh you wrote another book? you're still writing? I say yes, then they shut down, end of story, walk away, and look @ me like I'm a freak. I told my mom and my sister that I would probably just get a pen name so no one in my family(most of them, are of the mind & have been debating and coming to a collective opinion that it is smut, trash, porn, and fluff, and how could my parents LET me write romance?) would know my name ...

this is all hypothetical, of course (if I ever do get published), anyway, when I told my sister, who said romances aren't good for me to even read let a alone write... she was like, but you HAVE to tell me your name, so I know how much money you will make and can ask you for some. (she was dead serious)

Laurat: Your post must not go unanswered! The responses you're getting are from people who think they must respond in that vein. Ignorance is embarrassing to watch but try to feel some sympathy . . .

Your name? Use any name you please, including your own. Goodness, don't make decisions based on silly comments. Remember, those who deliver silly comments designed to hurt can only get what they want if you do feel hurt.

Write away, Laurat, and have fun with your talent.

Stella
