Ah, I think you must have a second home in Hawaii, Jayne. This is at least the third time I know of that you've been there this year. Hope you're enjoying it.
I too am enjoying something when my right hand isn't hurting too badly though I tend to forget the pain when I'm reading "Second Sight". Unfortunately, nothing seems to stop me from suddenly falling asleep. In a way it's good because the pain doesn't bother me then, but it does bother me that I keep getting interrupted while I'm reading. Normally, I would have finished the book by now if it weren't for all the extra-curricular sleep. And no, it's definitely not the book's fault. I do the same thing with any book even if I'm reading about a life-and-death situation. But I keep having to renew and renew again the books I've got from the library never mind my own that are waiting like "The Ghost Hunter". I'm trying to avoid stress but now even reading brings a certain amount of stress because I'm just not getting any books read on time and therefore keep having to pay fines or return them unfinished. - Lori Foster said...

Hawaii! Jayne, that must be soooo nice! Enjoy. And thank you for thinking of me during your downtime. :-) I really appreciate it.
Fun stuff!

Lori... what a FABULOUS read Murphy's Law is! I believe I have a new favorite Alpha Male... which was not easy, as the Winston brothers had been at the top, but my goodness... Quinton is such a well thought out, well-rounded character. What woman wouldn't want at least 10 of him in her life?!
Okay, maybe 10 is a bit much... then again... *cheeky grin* - Lori Foster said...

Hey cbell, thank you!!!
I just love hearing from happy readers who really "GOT" the story and characters. :-)
Big hugs!
