Welcome to Running With Quills, your online newsletter designed to keep you up to date with what your favorite authors (that would be us) are doing throughout the year. Here you will find the release dates of our new books and get information about our backlists. We'll preview our cover art here long before the books hit the stores and we'll keep you informed about works-in-progress and special projects. You'll also receive advance notice of signings and appearances. From time to time we'll give you a peek at our worlds, tell you what we're reading, and introduce you to some new authors.

Thanks Shelli. Ours were grand! But I'm terrible. Once it's over, it's over. I've already got the tree down and all the decorations put away. I know, I know. I should wait till after New Years - but I just can't seem to make myself do that.
I start cleaning up all the wrapping paper, and next thing I know, it's all gone and stored away for next year. :-/

I even went ahead and changed my wallpaper and screen saver so that now, instead of holiday stuff, I have spring flowers and waterfalls!
I NEED spring now! LOL

Hugs to all, and Happy New Year!

Lori

Hey, Lori, we've just officially started winter. Aren't you rushing the seasons just a wee bit? LOL

But I can understand. I just wish spring and fall were longer and winter and summer shorter--at least the cold, cold weather and the hot, hot weather.

Hope you all have had or have a wonderful time off.

Heh. There was no spring in Alaska. All the years I lived there, there was a joke that Alaska had 3 seasons - freeze-up, break-up, and road construction. And summer was 'the second weekend in August' as long as I can remember.

I've gotten used to having four real seasons again, and I'm rather looking forward to what I'll find once I move back to the midwest - sort of midwest, anyway, southern Oklahoma.

And I don't care what the calendar says about winter starting, I can see the days getting longer.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL Thank you for the belly laugh, karibear. I've got a terrible cold and your comments made me feel a little better.

Here's to a fabulous 2008 for us all!

Well, here in Texas we have 4 seasons. They are almost summer, summer, still summer and winter. Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year to all!

Lori: You're not supposed to take the decorations down until Epiphany! TWELVE Days of Christmas, remember?

karibear: Your quote reminds me of Michael Flanders (of Flanders & Swann) commenting on the English summer: "I missed it last year--I was in the bath."
