Welcome to Running With Quills, your online newsletter designed to keep you up to date with what your favorite authors (that would be us) are doing throughout the year. Here you will find the release dates of our new books and get information about our backlists. We'll preview our cover art here long before the books hit the stores and we'll keep you informed about works-in-progress and special projects. You'll also receive advance notice of signings and appearances. From time to time we'll give you a peek at our worlds, tell you what we're reading, and introduce you to some new authors.

Elizabeth G. laid low

Elizabeth G. has been laid low by food poisoning/a foodborne virus, so she won't be blogging today. She sends along her best wishes that everyone stays happy and healthy as we start a new year!

Big hugs to you, Elizabeth, though I won't squeeze too hard. Feeling nauseated, queasy and rotten is worse than pain, isn't it. I know I usually want to die whenever I felt that way. My last time was in 1988. Hope I'm not due for another bout.

Hope you feel up to par soon.

This seems to be the winter for people to get odd and/or unpleasant things. Be sure to follow the doctor’s orders, and when you feel up to it, have some hot tea with honey and lemon. I don’t know if it works, but it always makes me feel better.

Here's fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, Elizabeth. This seems to be the winter for illness. I've spent most of January coughing myself to pieces.

Take care and don't try to do too much too soon.

Thank you for all the good wishes, everybody! I'm starting to feel better after several weeks I wouldn't wish on anyone! :-)

I'm still doing the BRAT diet. (Banana. Rice. Toast. Applesauce.) Can't wait until I can eat real food again.

Hugs (but careful hugs as ranurgis wisely suggested),
~EG
