The Arcane novels are a very strong series. Not the same feel as the Donovans, for instance, but I really like the way the books stand on their own and also fit together. And of course, there's the suspense. How much longer are we going to have to wait for the women who've put up with Fallon's charming phone personality to blindside him with someone who hauls him out of isolation?

I'm also wondering if you can hold the readers off for as long as Laurens has in the Bastion Club books, where Dalziel still hasn't gotten what he deserves.

I hope you are having as much fun with your characters as your readers are.

crankyshopper, I cannot WAIT for Fallon to be hit with the woman who's going to drive him crazy *g* Actually, I CAN wait. I'm kind of enjoying the little glimpses and suspense of it all :)

Thanks so much, everyone. I really appreciate the enthusiasm for the series. I am having such a great time with it.

Never fear, Fallon will get his book. And his ancestor, Caleb Jones, is in the process of getting his. I am writing it as we speak and it will be published next spring.

Meanwhile, please know how delighted I am that you all are having fun with SIZZLE AND BURN. I had a wonderful time writing it.

    Love,
    Jayne

Congrat's on Sizzle & Burn, no surprise that it's another winner. Just finished my third read through last night!

Can't wait for the young aura reader to learn to use the camera Zack found ... interested to see what's in store for Fallon (sorry to know he doesn't have many friends, but happy it does not seem to bother him) ... and wonder where & when Niki will surface again!

Soooo, when's the next one due out (inquires the greedy reader)?

Jayne, as a token of my appreciation for the book (especially the presence of Batman and Robin), I'm sending you my two cats, Sethra the Fluffy Bimbo and Aliera of the Many, Many Sharp White Teeth.

You don't have to thank me; it's the least I can do....

    Hello, Jayne. Greetings from Argentina.
I´ve just finished Sizzle and Burn, and although my favourite one of the Arcane society is White Lies, I´ve enjoyed this one very much.
Can´t wait to read the third circle and of course, as everybody else in this blog, I have great expectations for Fallon´s story.
