    The End--one more time!

    Good morning, my flowers:)

This is infuriating but I just deleted the blog I had written... Grrrrr. I shall attempt to recreate but I'm ticked.

Yay, I just finished OUT OF SIGHT, the third book in my Court of Angels trilogy. The books are due out in March, April and May of next year. I recall when "next year" sounded so far away. Now, with Thanksgiving and Christmas drawing near, I would love to slow things down a bit.

I want to show you the logo for THE COURT OF ANGELS. The artist did a great job. Sang absolutely caught the atmosphere of these paranormal books as I feel it.

Very soon I'll show you the covers for OUT OF BODY, OUT OF MIND and OUT OF SIGHT.

Now on a completely different topic I'd like to ask you to answer a question that has been rattling around in my head lately:

    Q. If you could have three wishes, what would they be?

    Happy Thanksgiving,

    Stella

Stella, poor babies on the lost post--is there anything more maddening? Very cool logo.

3 wishes, huh? I'm not sure what all three would be, but if I could have my mother back the way she was even a couple of years ago, that would be the greatest gift of all.

OH stella 3 wishes? when I think about this question I always think about should I be serious and do the right thing or go for what I really want? LOL :-) there are so many many options dont you know! but mostly I always want my family to be happy and healthy and get along would be good too!
then there is the world where i just read all the time and have unlimited access to all the books I want to read when I need to read them :-)
and sinceI love my job I and I never want to be without one well the 3rd wish is that everyone has that! It so brings to mind the jude deveroux book wishes when she didnt know she was making wishes! :-) gotta be careful what you wish for!
books to keep me entertained that would be cool! and keep me busy too until the grandbaby gets here then he might take away from my reading time a bit! I dont think I will mind though!

thanks much for the smilethis morning and susan I would wish your mother good health also!

Stella, I'm so sorry you lost the post! Doesn't it auto-save for you as you go along? It does for me.

Love the logo! It looks incredible. And those titles are fabulous too - they tie together so nicely, but each is unique enough that they won't get confusing.
Can't WAIT to see the covers! I love, love, love seeing everyone's covers.

Three wishes for me... well, the holidays always make me mushy. I think first I'd ask that all my loved ones remain safe and healthy. Selfish of me, but I am such a terrible worrier, and I see all the evil in the world, and know what COULD happen, and it plagues me.
I'd also wish for all children to be protected from abuse, hunger, neglect and fear. When I worry about my kids and my grandson, it always ends up encompassing children everywhere.
And if only people would all be more tolerant of each other. Kate Duffy (man I miss her) used to say that she couldn't abide the "Morals police." I feel the same. Let's all be the best person we can be, and give others the chance to do the same without our constant judgment.

    Hugs to all!

    Lori

    Hey Stella,
I would wish for long lives of health and happiness for my friends and family. I would also wish for just enough money so that the bills will always be paid, and last but certainly not least I would wish for true love :)

I love the logo -- it's very evocative.

I figure that everyone else will cover the unselfish ones that take care of the world, so I'll go with my (selfish) Three Wishes:

    1. That my kids will be achieve their dreams, be mostly happy and always healthy, and leave the world a better place when they go.

    2. Enough money to pay all of my bills (begone Education Department, forever more!) and buy a new house -- with enough left over to be able to go on my dream trip to Italy and the Greek Islands.

    3. The motivation (and ability) to lose the extra weight and get healthier and in great shape and (perhaps most importantly) the ability to enjoy healthy foods more than the unhealthy ones instead of the other, cheese-covered, way around.

Is Mercury in retrograde? I lost two chapters over the weekend. I think I spent more time trying to find them than rewriting them (at least I have a previous version).

Love the logo, and can't wait to see the covers!

My 3 wishes echo ones I've already read. I suppose it'd be shallow to wish my missing chapters would reappear. ;-)

Stella, good morning to you. Technology is wonderful until it fails you, then it is de debbil.
My wishes all boil down to one thing. I wish the people of this world could be whole. Then there would be no hatred, jealousy, abuse, war, poverty, starvation, etc. I'm not saying there should be no challenge in life, only we should have the wholeness to meet those challenges and effect positive change. We should not have to fear the person who is so broken that he/she commits an evil act against a child. We should not have to worry that our skin color, our choice of religion, or our gender identity could get us killed. We should be able to have a measure of joy in simply being ourselves. We are, each and every one of us a manifestation of Life, and we triumph with each breath we take. Rejoice in the day.

    BTW-cool logo for your series!

    3 Wishes

    1. As my children have taken up the majority of my time I have lost touch with many friends and family members...I wish I had those back.

    2. I wish my Mom could get well and stay that way.

    3. Winning the big lottery wouldn't hurt either. :)

    Stella,

    Thanks for recreating the blog!

    My three wishes would be:

    1) That the all girls prep high school I went to would introduce a self defense class and a shop class. Right now gym classes include, square dancing, bowling, archery, and badminton. Even as I type this, 18 years from the last time I had to do-si-do, I am rolling my eyes.

    2) That my family remains healthy during the flu outbreak.

    3) That libraries in Ohio become fully funded and stay that way.

Yes, good health and good things for our families--I go with that one for sure. Your idea about having all the books you want and the time to read them resonates but I think I'm pretty lucky there.

As to a job for everyone and a job they like. I so want everyone to be employed. Very little can be more demoralizing than not being able to provide for your family, or just for yourself.

Your wishes sound so familiar to me. School loans do seem to go on forever, don't they?

I've had the most success with weight loss and maintenance through taking the slow, steady road and learning to accept that this has to be a way of life. And hoo mama (as my New Orleans friends say) do I hate having to be so sensible.

Carla: Wish away for those three chapters to come back. Why not? That is so horrible. I once went to bed for the rest of the day when I lost a chapter. That means you get to keep your head under the covers for two days. I'm really sorry that happened to you.

Don't you hate it when you go to write something and you click publish and it disappears? I had that happen to me a few times on MySpace so now I copy everything I've written by right clicking and selecting copy before clicking on that publish button. lol It's actually saved me a few times so I didn't have to write an entire blog over again.

    Three wishes...

I wish I could go back in time to when I was about 13 years old with all the memories I have right now and do it all over again. Thing would be so different.

I would wish for a wallet that gave me the exact amount of money I needed for the bills, groceries, ect...everytime I needed it.

I would wish that everyone could just get along.
