JAYNE brings you the FIRED UP video

As most of you know, FIRED UP, Book One of the Dreamlight Trilogy, goes on sale Dec. 29th. This is the first volume in a "Trilogy within Arcane" that will cross all three of my timelines and pen names. Book Two, BURNING LAMP (under my Amanda Quick name) will be out in April and Book III, MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL (under my Jayne Castle name) arrives next August. (Yes, keeping the plot threads and characters straight was a real high-wire act!).

I'm really excited about these books and I couldn't wait to show you the cool video that Writerspace and Paula Graves (who, in another life writes romantic-suspense) created for it. I hope you enjoy it and the trilogy.

    Now back to wrapping presents!

    Sincerely,

    Jayne

Jayne, you crazy woman! Your dance with insanity is going to produce three books in three time period, under three names, and give me three times the fun of reading them all. What an amazing feat. As my youngest grandgirl would say, "Dat's Awshum!"

    I can't wait,

    Lynne Thomas

LYNNE: Well, it was a challenge, I can tell you that much! But fun, as well. Hope you find the book awshum!

STELLA: Thanks and speaking of trilogies, I'm really excited about your paranormla trilogy "Court of Angels" due out in the spring.

JANEL: Glad you like the video. I was thrilled with it. I think Writerspace and Paula Graves did a fab job -- again!

SUE G: "Jonesing" for Fallon, huh? Love it! He does get a nice cameo in FIRED UP. I'm writing his story as we speak. It will be out this time next year.

BARBARA H: Thanks so much for pre-ordering FIRED UP. The second book in the series, BURNING LAMP, will be out in April. Let me tell you, plotting in reverse order is a tricky business!

CARLA: Thanks and stay warm! I hear it's a mite chilly where you are. We're down into the low thirties here in Seattle and to us that's bitter cold. I know it's sunbathing weather for folks in your part of the country, though.

I am so excited for your new books! I feel so grateful that I picked up my first Amanda Quick book all those years ago, I eagerly anticipate the next release. I just hope that with twins due in April, I can steal a few moments to keep up!

Jayne, your video is VERY kewl! The books sound even cooler. I love that across space and time theme.

Speaking of cool, it's in the low 30s in your 'hood? Man, it was 21.4 degrees this morning in my mine and is a balmy 29 now. It was a chilly walk with the bros this morn.

    But pretty. Very,very pretty.

Love the video Jayne, and pre-ordered Fired Up last week. Can't wait for it to show up in my mailbox!!! I'm really looking forward to the next two in the series--can't wait to see what Amanda Quick and Jayne Castle do with their stories!

Wow, all three times have guys with this curse? I hope they can find/make a second burning lamp, then, for the poor guys in the family who DIDN'T go across to Harmony (or maybe for the ones who did -now I'm curious as to where it ended up!).
Looking forward to reading it come the end of the month!
(Also, we tried the nori-wrapped salmon for my sister's birthday, it went over very well)

Susan: Yep we got down into the 20s last night but made it to 32 late this afternoon. Starting to fall again now, though. Gonna be a cold night.

Kate: It was a challenge plotting across all three time lines, let me tell you. Especially since I wrote them out of order -- had to write the contemporary book first, the historical second and the final book (Castle) last. Talk about juggling chainsaws.

Shoshana: Yes, indeed, had to figure out a way to get the lamp to Harmony. Like I said, it was a challenge. Good thing the lamp was made of alchemical steel. It didn't rust.

Jayne, Have Fired Up on pre-order also, can't wait, but that means I'm wishing all my Christmas shopping, wrapping, cooking time away! It's already 7 days in and I'm behind!

Having the trilogy cross all three of your timelines will be great for us, and we know you are up to the challenge.

I'm excited you're working on Fallon's story, yay!!! And big coincidence, I must be related to Isabella, my mom's maiden name is Valdez :)

JEMI: I'm so glad you like the idea of crossing my three time-lines. I hope it works. I think it works. But I guess I won't know for sure until the books come out.

SUE G: Hah. According to Fallon Jones, there are no coincidences!!!

    Dear Jayne,

I know I will love these books as well as all the others that I have read. I have read everything except the Bentleys and I can't get my hands on those!

I have loved paranormal/sci-fi since I was a kid and my brother let me read one of his Andre Norton books.

You have a beautiful blend of romance/sci-fi/mystery in your books. Even the ones that are not labeled paranormal, the main couple have a "link" or "connection" that ties them to each other. I will be at the store on Dec 29th to pick up the latest Jayne book!

    Hugs,
    Evie
