MY OWN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE...

    Good morning, my flowers:

Yes, I'm having my own out of body experience. I think I'm looking in from the outside and I don't know how that woman at the keyboard will get everything on her list done. She also seems to be scattered while she is working which is not a good sign. So, send a few good thoughts her way that she'll settle down.

Today I'm sending you a bulletin on OUT OF BODY events. (There's that phrase again)

    1. There is still time to join me on Facebook for a chance to win the copyedited manuscript of OUT OF BODY or a COURT OF ANGELS mug. Follow the Facebook link from www.stellacameron.com or http://purplepapayallc.com/client_promotions.aspx There is a contest for one of Jayne's ARCs there as well as the link to my Facebook Page.

    2. A giveaway for OUT OF BODY mugs will continue through February with a reader winning each week.

    3. ARE YOU READY FOR THIS? Wazoo is the real reason I'm in a flap. She's "flapping" her mouth and threatening to give away all kinds of inside information about the first COURT OF ANGELS series. Cissy at Writerspace has given me an easier way to keep up with (or try to catch up with) the evil W. Either use the widget right here, go to
www.stellacameron.com, or to Facebook to see what she is saying. And if that isn't confusing enough, Wazoo is parading around from Twitter at http://twitter.com/CourtOfAngels You can leave her a question there or you can tell her to behave--I would be very grateful for the help.

    4. I'm working with some local booksellers to make goodie packets of an autographed COA logo bookplate, a COA bookmark, and a COA logo sticker available. For these you would need to order your book from the list of booksellers at http://purplepapayallc.com/ParticipatingBooksellers.aspx

    5. Seattle Mystery Bookshop is taking orders for autographed books and these books will also include a goodie packet. There is always a link to Seattle Mystery Bookshop below and on my site.

If you aren't on overload, I am. I want to crawl back into my storyland. The only other thing I can think of right now (quit cheering:) is that you can mail away for autographed bookplates at Facebook or my website. Then, if you're quick, you'll have your plate to slap right inside your new book. I know, you can hardly control your excitement.

    Q. And there will be a test... Is there anything that makes you really nervous, any situation you know you'll have to face whether you like it or not?

May the week be good to you and yours,

    Stella

I can't wait for this one to come out. And as far as things making me really nervous? WEREN'T you LISTENING? LOL...I'm freaking out over my own book release, m'dear. Yours doesn't have me worried at all because I know it's going to literally fly right off the shelves. It does sound like you're going to be just a bit busy over the next month--take care and enjoy!

I can't wait to read this when it comes out. There are several things that make me nervous but the thing that makes me shake is having to get up and dance. omg I hate that. The last time I danced was at my brothers wedding and I was dancing with my husband who hates dancing just as much as I do. lol

Don't worry, Stella. Wazoo keeps way more secrets than she tells. Plus you know enough of her secrets that you can keep her in check with blackmail.

Nervous? Me? I only really get nervous when I am around people who want to talk religion and/or politics. Since most of the time, my drummer is in a completely different band, I tend to either lose interest or lose friends over those discussions. I always wonder why, since I tolerate them, they refuse to tolerate me. It's not as if I am doing them (or anyone) any harm. Oh well.

    Can't wait for OOB!

Ah, yes, nothing like pulling ourselves out of storyland --but sounds as if you've plenty to keep yourself distracted and the rest of us having a blast!

GORGEOUS cover, Stella! Very striking. I hear ya on the outside looking in, wondering how it'll all get done. Do that ALL the time.
You have some great promo stuff going on! Lucky readers. :-)

Good luck on getting it all together, and keeping your sanity too. LOL

    Hugs,
    Lori

Mary: Sometimes I rebel against the things we "must" do. Why do you have to dance at a wedding when it makes both you and your husband miserable? There should be a way to let people know ahead of time that you won't take part.

I hate that twisting feeling you get when you feel something you hate getting closer and closer.

I'm so excited about your Court of
Angels series, Stella! Your new paranormal world is fascinating -- and what a perfect setting for it, New Orleans.

And I am getting such a kick out of Wazoo and a certain author exchanging barbs and tweets at www.Facebook.com/CourtOfAngels I'm hooked. I check it every day now.

Hi Stella - It makes me nervous just to think about what makes me nervous as I am a nervous person by nature. I think I am the most in my element when I am reading a book I enjoy. I pretty much take a book everywhere I go & try to sneak peeks. I also have time to read on my night job as a private duty nurse. Cypress Nights caught my attn on your website, so I ordered that today & I am looking forward to reading it.

    Hi Stella,

I am one of your readers who can't wait for your COA series to come out.

There have been a lot of things going on nowadays that make me nervous (and thanksful at the same time) like work, moving to a new home (and we have to be out of our apartment this week - so we need to pack and move asap), we are painting 3 rooms in our home, our 3 dogs are like roosters they wake us up at 6am every morning (even on weekends), I am taking a writing class at the UW twice a week (which I truly enjoy) and need to turn in my homework every thursday (well I don't have to but I want to).

Whew! Deep breaths Stella =). Again, can't wait to take sometime off and enjoy your book. Happy Monday =)

    Hey Stella,

    Excellent cover! Definitely eye catching.

Nervous? In Feb, I have to give presentations to teachers....and because I have done this before, mine is to teachers who don't teach the same subect as I do. I hate giving presentations - and teachers, if they aren't into what you are presenting - can be the worst audience imaginable. I feel nauseous.

About that and every now and then I get slight panic attacks about my budget. I know have it planned out but every once and awhile, I panic.

Lynne: You are a voice of reason!

There's a good reason why we were warned never to discuss religion or politics. You've just covered it. Works fine when a sprited discussion can happen, not so fine when only one side is considered worth any discussion at all!

    Argument makes me nervous...

    Cheers, Stella

Living with continual panicky feelings is no fun. There are ways around that and maybe you've got a close friend who would talk about it with you and come up with a plan.

I hope you have fun with CYPRESS NIGHTS. And thank you for being one of our nurse angels.

Stella - I have talked to the Dr. about it before. He made it sound like I seem like I am waiting for impending doom. I don't go into major panic attacks because I know I am ok. I had a nervous grandparent on each side. I just live w/ it. I am still an optimistic, upbeat person. And as for my job, I couldn't ask for better. I get to take care of a smart 20 month old girl w/ medical problems. I watch her at night mostly when she sleeps so her parents can sleep.

    Hi Stella,

Crowds scare me and make me nervous. I get that same out of body feeling sometimes.

I can't wait for your Court of Angels series to be published - have been curious since you first mentioned it last year. Thanks for putting up the twitter link, etc. I'll check it out soon!

Now you've hit my own "nervous-maker." Crowds are difficult for me, too. It's not hard to learn how to manage yourself in a crowded room, but open spaces and lots of people are more difficult.
